The BC Provincial Championships showcase the best of competitive disc golf while strengthening the communities that make the sport possible. By celebrating excellence, fostering connection, and investing in local organizers, Provincials inspire participation, develop leadership, and support the sustainable growth of disc golf across British Columbia.

Hosting the BC Disc Golf Provincial Championships is both a recognition of a community’s commitment to disc golf and an investment in its future. The BCDGA supports the host through financial contributions — successful submission for a $1,500 event grant (viaSport Hosting BC) and an $1,000 event sponsorship — while the championship itself helps attract visitors, volunteers, sponsors, and municipal support. The event provides a catalyst for course improvements, infrastructure investment, and long-term community partnerships, leaving a lasting legacy that benefits local clubs and grows the sport well beyond championship weekend.
