I was introduced to disc golf in Grade 12 through a few guys in my class, though I had never been further than seeing where the local course was, Rose Hill in Kamloops, BC. I threw my first disc several years later in 2012 and a few years after that played my first round ever and at the course that would become my home course, Little Mountain Disc Golf Course/Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, BC, and where I would be brought into VanCity United Disc Golf Club in 2020 as a Womens Outreach Coordinator to create and host, as well as manage the marketing and communications, for a VCU Ladies Casual Intro Rounds held every other week, now known as Ladies Night a weekly league.
The Ladies Night league was the first ladies league in Metro Vancouver, and in 2024 the league was the first ladies league in Metro Vancouver to have Womens Bag Tags, running concurrent with Club Tags, all with gratitude to VCU members and the disc golf community for the hype and support.

More about me: I have a background in hospitality and tourism management, legal administrative assistance, and coursework towards a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing enhanced with communications courses. For a few years during university/after high school a friend and I worked in collaboration with a local non-profit organization to create and lead our own Poker Run event, designed to be a “Poker Run”-meets-the TV show “The Amazing Race” (mostly the show’s “Detours and Roadblocks”) and provided multi-tiered sponsor-donated prizes, our last event hosted around 24 people. I having curled since I was 17 years old in ladies leagues, mixed leagues, bonspiels, played lead, and skipped a mixed league team, but prefer to play second or third with my aim, alpine skiing, road running, biking the Seawall and Stanley Park, practice hot yoga, snowshoe, bocce ball, and dabbled in a variety of other activities including a few St. John Ambulance First Aid courses (CPR-C & AED and Transportation Endorsement), indoor rock climbing and bouldering, cinematography (theatre in high school, reading textbooks while a former boyfriend was in film school, and one indie music video as Crafty/Transport/Set Design), crokinole, volleyball, golf, billiards, speed skating, shuffleboard, hiking, white water rafting (once, Kicking Horse River during high water), and I am terrible at darts – a friend’s wall can confirm.
